Wild Thing

Inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, the rambling blooms in this collection are designed to conjure the wonder, mysticism and colour of a wild English garden bursting into life.

The starting point for WILD THING was from an original watercolour Emerald painted last spring in her garden. The design was then simplified and transferred onto printing blocks, and colour experimentation ensued. Prue and Emerald mixed and selected a rich, warm and vibrant range of colour pigments to create the colour palette. Springing directly from nature, it is designed to exude light and warmth.

The rambling repeat of ‘WILD THING, and the naming of the colourways aim to embody the ethereal spirit of the wild garden, inspiring a tranquil feel and a hint of magic.
